An endorsement from United Working Families is a huge honor. As a woman of color with deep roots in the community it’s an honor to be recognized by UWF, an organization that has shown true commitment to empowering leaders of color and fighting for working-class families not just to survive but thrive. An endorsement from UWF continues the incredible momentum of this campaign and makes me more ready than ever to take my leadership experience in the 46th ward and as alderperson fight for housing affordability, well-resourced neighborhood schools, and true public safety. We are a diverse community of neighbors with shared concerns and as the next alderperson, alongside a new crop of incredible leaders across the city, I am ready to build strong coalitions and make meaningful changes for our neighbors.

I had the pleasure of attending the Alliance For Community Service award dinner last night and it was an honor to be in a room full of freedom fighters. Congratulations to all of the awardees including Cook County College Teachers Unioun Tony Johnston! The wisdom and energy shared with me really put into perspective why our campaign is so crucial to our community and the City of Chicago. We will win!

Excited to share that I’ve received an endorsement from Northside Democracy for American (NDFA)! NDFA is a group full of policy wonks and politically thoughtful northsiders who work tirelessly to elect progressive candidates.
I’m grateful to have their support and belief in my campaign!

m beyond humbled to receive this endorsement by Asian American Midwest Progressives! As a young woman of color, my inner organizer is ecstatic to create meaningful relationships and serve our neighbors from all backgrounds. Having the support of our Asian American community members speaks to the diversity that our campaign embodies and the collective people power we have in the 46 Ward.
Our team has been working day & night to prove how committed we are to real grassroots collective power and with @aamprogressives support, we can build a an equitable city Ward by Ward.

Angela goes back to school! Well, not really, but she does attend the back to school event for north side schools. The event was held on the lot of Eugene Field School in Roger Park. Here Angela got the opportunity to share some of her ideas on education with CPS.
