United Working Families Endorsement

An endorsement from United Working Families is a huge honor. As a woman of color with deep roots in the community it’s an honor to be recognized by UWF, an organization that has shown true commitment to empowering leaders of color and fighting for working-class families not just to survive but thrive. An endorsement from UWF continues the incredible momentum of this campaign and makes me more ready than ever to take my leadership experience in the 46th ward and as alderperson fight for housing affordability, well-resourced neighborhood schools, and true public safety. We are a diverse community of neighbors with shared concerns and as the next alderperson, alongside a new crop of incredible leaders across the city, I am ready to build strong coalitions and make meaningful changes for our neighbors.

Alliance Dinner

I had the pleasure of attending the Alliance For Community Service award dinner last night and it was an honor to be in a room full of freedom fighters. Congratulations to all of the awardees including Cook County College Teachers Unioun Tony Johnston! The wisdom and energy shared with me really put into perspective why our campaign is so crucial to our community and the City of Chicago. We will win!

Get Out The Vote drive

This week the 46 Ward was filled with some amazing events!
The 46 Ward Democrats put together an awesome Get Out The Vote drive at the dynamic Baton Show Lounge! Governor Pritzker made a special appearance to remind us what’s at stake this election and energized everyone to make a plan to vote! The owner Jim Flint (second photo) is also an amazing pillar with deep roots in fighting for equity throughout this entire city & I couldn’t be more honored for his business to call the 46 Ward home Casino Night was then held at the beautiful Aragon Ballroom by the Uptown Chamber Of Commerce. Running into lifelong and new 46 Ward neighbors who support our campaign was truly the highlight of the night!

m beyond humbled to receive this endorsement by Asian American Midwest Progressives! As a young woman of color, my inner organizer is ecstatic to create meaningful relationships and serve our neighbors from all backgrounds. Having the support of our Asian American community members speaks to the diversity that our campaign embodies and the collective people power we have in the 46 Ward.
